ABOUT

Below we outlined a general overview of the services included in our label package. We will work with you to help ensure your growth as an artist and help you get more fans.

DISTRIBUTION 

The first (and arguably most important part) of our service package is our digital distribution. Your music is the most powerful marketing and promotional tool in your arsenal and we’ll get it on all major streaming platforms so you just have to worry about playing. We’ll also register your music with a performance rights organization (PRO) so you’re not missing out on any potential royalties as well as copyright your material in your name so you retain all the rights to your own music. We will pitch your music for licensing deals in an attempt to get your music featured in independent film, tv, commercials, video games etc. 

MANAGEMENT 

We offer a variety of management services for our acts from analyzing the big picture to taking care of day to day tasks. Every quarter we’ll check in for a consultation to analyze your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats so we can develop a game plan for your success and figure out what can be done to help you grow your fanbase. This will involve us sitting in on a rehearsal and gig so we can give the best feedback possible. We can also take care of the daily tasks that come along with being in the music industry like emailing promoters, updating social media accounts, analyzing your engagement metrics etc. We will also pitch you to gear companies for endorsement deals 

PROMOTION

We know that the biggest challenge artists face is raising awareness about their music and we can help with that. We’ll brainstorm with you to come up with unique promotions to get fans interested in you as well as push your music on Spotify by pitching it to playlists (we only provide this to artists we are distributing) and including you in our own created playlists. We can help to get you in the press whether that’s getting written up on blogs, getting put on the various forms of radio, or being featured on live streaming channels.

STUDIO

All artists that sign on with us get a discount on our studio services. We can record mix and master your music and deliver you a professional sounding final product. 

VIDEO SERVICES 

We can help you create a variety of interesting video content pieces that will catch the eyes of potential fans and get them to listen to your music. All our artists receive a discount on these services just like with our studio services. We’re able to do live videos and play thru/cover videos in house and we outsource lyric videos, visualizers and music videos to our trusted friends Ralph LePera and Y2KTV who give FDE signed artists discounted services. 

 

BOOKING

We can help get you booked on shows thru our connections with various promoters and venues. You will also get priority on any shows organized by FDE. We can help you set up weekend runs and tours as well. 

MERCH SPLITTING

Do you need more shirts but can’t afford the bill? What about physical copies of your music? We can help split the initial production costs of your merch so it can be in your hands sooner! Once you have your goods you can sell them on your own or give us a portion to sell on our end helping to turn fans into walking advertisements for your music. 

A LA CARTE

Pick and choose which services you want from us and what you’d like to keep handling yourself. 

PRICING 

Signing on to the label costs an initial payment of $50 and a royalty kickback on streaming and digital music sales of 10%-30%. Most labels ask anywhere from 40%-90% on royalty kick back (including Ticket and merch sales) but being that we’re a smaller operation we feel a lower pricing model is more fair and will allow you more room to grow as well as for us to gain more experience and grow our operation. Management, promotional, and booking services are included for free upon signing on for distribution. Artists that don’t sign on for distribution have to pay for management, promotional, and booking services out of pocket. Big picture management is billed per consultation while day to day management services are billed monthly. Promotional services are billed per project. Booking services are priced based on percentages for one off shows and a flat rate per show for multi day runs. Recording services are billed hourly and mixing/mastering/video services are billed per song. Artists signed with us receive a discount on these services but unfortunately we can’t give them away as they are our primary source of income. Merch splitting can be paid off via monthly payment plan or for our signed artists by letting us sell a portion of the merch on our end which we keep the profits from.
